Jordanna Kalman

Jordanna Kalman began taking pictures at age 14 and hasn’t looked back since. Having grown up in an artists’ household, she was exposed to art at a young age, becoming familiar with masters of photography like Avedon, Cameron and Newman. Their portraits influenced her to begin making her own pictures of friends, and slowly her style developed, a combination of formal composition and emotional intimacy.

Kalman has a BFA in Photography from Purchase College, and splits her time between photography and producing independent films.
